Next, you’ll need to configure DNS to direct web traffic to the Sucuri firewall. You’ll need to access the DNS records in your web hosting account and change the “A” record for your website. Then, enter the IP addresses provided by Sucuri.
If all this is too complicated, don’t worry.
You can contact your web host or domain registrar and they will guide you through this. Or, even better, you can open a support ticket with Sucuri and their team will help you change the DNS records.
You will find the link to open a ticket within the instructions provided on the same page.
Once you’re done, changes can take up to 48 hours to reflect, but usually happen within a few hours.
If your website is experiencing a DDoS attack, Sucuri has a built-in feature to activate emergency DDoS protection.
Select your website in the dashboard and open the Firewall » Settings » Security tab .
Here you will see a list of measures that you can enable using the checkboxes next to them. You should check the box next to “Enable emergency DDoS protection” . And don’t forget to click the “Save Advanced Security Options” button to store your changes.
This protects your site against HTTP floods. Basically, it prevents any browser that doesn’t have Javascript enabled from accessing your brazil phone number data site, except for major search engines. This is a very useful feature for mitigating DDoS attacks.

To block specific countries, in the Sucuri dashboard, open the Firewall » Settings » Access Control page and here you can open the “Geo Blocking” tab .
You will see a list of all the countries in the world the chatbots are pretty advanced—they can target users based and you just need to check the box next to the ones you want to block. When you are done, press the green “Save” button to store your changes.
When things get back to normal, you can unblock these countries if you want, so that real users originating from them can access your site again.
Step 5: Monitor your website
Sucuri’s firewall will protect your website and block any attacks from hackers and malicious bots. Its server-side scanner will periodically check your website for malware and suspicious activity.
You can view your website details on the Firewall Reports page . You’ll see how many attacks Sucuri blocked, average hourly traffic, and traffic by country, as well as other useful graphs and statistics.
And with this, your website will be protected not only from DDoS attacks but also from all other hacks like redirect hacks and SEO spam.
